very freshly dead found on a secluded bank of the anacostia river....a surprising find for two reasons-1)was initally on site at adjacent RFK stadium to attend a grateful dead concert(great show)...2)anacostia river is well known for it's pollution by raw sewage overspill thus rendering this species in particular an unexpected find,not to mention in such an area bordered on both sides by old urban development.sorry,no pic.
