overgrown lot used to store asst. junk on grounds of st. elizabeth's hospital....several specimens found together under a.c./debris....would have to scan old film pics;scanner offline now.

That reminds me of finding the same species under debris in the middle of Baltimore. Little snakes can make it in the city with a minimum of habitat.
Get the pics sometime - that'd be the only record we have of that species from DC.
