I'm sure there were more, just probably out further. Actually, this is the place that Kyle went to and helped find stuff for the community outreach. He went later that night and found more stuff.

*No leopards. In six years, I've only ever seen woods and peepers in this vernal... as far as anurans go. In the park itself, the only other anurans I've seen are green frogs in the creek. Maybe a toad... I'd have to check my records.

Just curious, you rarely only see just one. Are leopard frogs in the area? Those are usually off by themselves.

A week earlier I could have easily vouched 100's of woods going at it. I was back to see if there was any evidence of spotties as I saw none prior. This time, there were tons of spotted spermatophores. The wood frogs were all gone.

It was the only one I was able to see from the edge. But I'm sure there's tons more.
