Mark I live in Russell on the banks of the Conewango creek,here in Warren county I have found all salamanders listed as in the county except P ruber, If your ever up this way again ,email me and we can go herping

It was luck really. I am unfamiliar with herps up there (I'm a FL native)and was just taking a walk with my father in-law when I saw the salamander that didn't look quite like all the red efts I had been seeing. (I think I have an in situ shot somewhere)
I may get a chance to see another in April.
Do you live near there?
