Notes
Caught sight of the snake moving through mustard several feet off the trail, just a few feet from someone's backyard. Moving the tops of the mustard stalks next to him caused him to stop and curl, then I carefully moved mustard out of the way until I got the clear picture. Was alert the entire time but did not rattle. Approximately 2.5' long.
