Because of the heavy rains the river had crested and was now flowing through the forest! COMPLETELY FLOODED!!!
This snake was @ 4 feet up in the tree above the flooded ground.
Odd brown coloring on the top. Could be covered in rusted iron deposits from the soil it spent the winter in.
