Notes
Found at the Tejon Ranch during a So Cal. NAFHA Event to look for Tehachapi Slender Salamanders. Looking at range maps this should be a intergrade area between Pituophis catenifer annectens - San Diego Gopher Snake and Pituophis catenifer deserticola - Great Basin Gopher Snake. It was found on the road during the morning with the temps starting to rise in full sun. The car in front of me had passed it without noticing it.
