Notes
Flipped from underneath a rock,the area is VERY THICK with sage brush making it almost impossible to find ways around the hillside. The morning had rained as the previous day/s did.
Also found about 20 feet away under a rock was an adult western red tailed skink. I physically had held the skink and when I lifted my hand to take a pic it slid off the rock and into a hole underneath. No pic was taken of the skink.
