Notes
Same locale as June 2009 record 26194 and Feb 22 2010 record 38788.
On Feb 22 only a single juvenile was seen. Today, there were at least four large adults (larger than specimens in Record 26194) seen jumping into the murky water at one part of creek, no photographs, and two adults at this part (just downstream) - the specimen photographed and a male heard calling from just across stream.
Even though I could hear his call, I was unable to locate the calling frog. Frog call identified as R. draytonii via recorded call at Californiaherps.com. Unfortunately I did not have audio recording equipment with me.
Also of possible interest, on Feb 22 several adult Pseudacris sierra were heard calling from this part of creek, none heard today.
Update Feb 27 - more precise georeference via gpx dump
