Notes
Found in opaque condition resting beneath the overhang of a large granite boulder. Snake was found in the same spot on 6/6/2009 and was found sunning in front of the overhang on 6/12/2009. On 6/17/2009 a shed skin was found just in front of the boulder and the snake was not observed. This snake has a distinctive injury to the right ocular scale that matches a blacktail found in this same side canyon two years previous.
