Notes
This salamander is now recognized as the Wintu Shasta Salamander, H. wintu. This is one of the best salamander finds I have ever had, and took a ton of effort in scaling the mountain and getting lucky with conditions from myself and my wife, plus a boat ride. One of the most unique herping experiences of my life, and a very pretty animal!
