I have Southerns and Northerns down here, and I still mess it up. I wouldn't have caught it if I didn't see "Southern" in a Vermont record. Hahaha.
You're right, I usually am not in the habit of thinking about subspecies and mistook northern for southern.
Should this be edwardsii?
