Notes
There were probably more than two Ornate Chorus Frogs on the road, but I only stopped to photograph two confirmed ones, as I was cruising (unsuccessfully) for Flatwoods Salamanders. I saw 1 Barking Treefrog (hopped off road before I got my camera), 10+ Southern Toad, 2 Southern Cricket Frogs, 5-6 Southern Leopard Frogs, 1 Banded Watersnake, 3 Ribbon Snakes, and 4 Garter Snakes this night in about two and a half hours of cruising. Eventually, my will to get soaked again to check each frog gave out and I just salamander cruised, but I did get pictures of both the brown and green color morphs of this magnificent Deep South specialty!
