Fixed directions in comment below. Silly me, always getting east and west confused...
No, if you look at the VT map turtle distribution maps you'll see that maps are restricted to the western part of the sate and only occur in Lake Champlain and it's major tributaries. Caledonia County is in the far northeastern corner. There is also no suitable habitat for maps in that area (mountainous ponds and streams)
