I was tempted to put this as 80 separate entries just to pad my numbers, but reason intervened.
And yes, I did count exactly 80 turtles basking, not 79 nor 81. I'm sure I missed another 50 or so that I couldn't see or that dove.
I actually photographed a lot more individuals for my 80 entries, but here's a few to prove I can ID Trachemys. I cut the total number down to 80 since there are stickler's here who say only those individuals vouchered can be counted. ;-)
The last male was a stunner, for a T. scripta.

Wow, who knew Red-eared Sliders were in Texas...I thought they all lived in golf course ponds in AZ...
