Notes
Weather was very hot and humid and had been in the high 80s every day for the week prior to observation. Specimen was found in a drying stream bed on the mud a few feet from pooling water. The water level was very low, leaving a large strip of muddy, rocky area on both sides.
This specimen was under a rock close to the bank of the stream. There were two rocks right next to each other and both had a Northern Red Salamander under them.
