Notes
During rainy night, many DOR toads detected on roads intersecting orchards and urban structures. Live toads were also seen. Although common, fewer were detected than its counterpart Bufo woodhousii. Most were seen on roadways paralleling small, unspoiled parcels of land. A conscious effort was made to detect breeding chorus but nothing was heard. More of the toads were seen at the same location on May 9, 2003.
