Notes
A seemingly odd find for such an arid, barren habitat. One large adult diadophis flipped under a basalt cap rock in mixed grassland/ coastal sage brush habitat with numerous talus slides nearby. Low elevation and on the eastern crest of the Diablo Range along the skirtings of the dry Central Valley.
