kingsnake found dead on trail
Looked like it might have been stomped to death by someone.
If you notice the grass near the snake is matted down. Speculation on my part as it could have been an animal of some kind..
My guess is it was from the day before..
3 rd dead snake I would see on the day, due to human killings (IMO). Must be the full moon or something..
