Notes
We turned up seven of these mud-burrowing small sirens, called "Siren minima" and forthcoming as a full species with further description (Nathan is recording the seventh and final specimen). Several escaped, but we captured three of them after kicking through the muck, two of which are pictured below, including one with extensive bite marks, possibly from intraspecific territorial disputes.
