Notes
So much moisture in the air that visibility was reduced to a couple hundred yards in places. Despite having rained earlier in the day and earlier in the week and having runoff streams everywhere, cover was still quite dry underneath. Flipped this guy under a cut log just a few minutes after flipping a small subadult. It was very dry under the log, but the sali was at the very edge, possibly to contact moisture seeping in around the corners.
Sali had unusual discoloration in abdomen - possibly gravid? All 30+ slenders that I've found in this area have appeared to be nigriventris, but I'm still holding out on whether this could be B. major, mostly due to largish limbs. I apologize for the terrible pictures - my camera won't get good pics of something that small in that light.
