Notes
I was walking along the fence on the southeast side of my property talking with my brother when I saw this Diamondback about to crawl through the fence. I told my brother I’d call him back and ran for my hook and Nikon. This one was not very cooperative. I finally caught it and relocated it a few miles up the road in a very remote area. This is the first Diamondback I’ve seen out here. I’ve caught and relocated three Canebrakes since March of 2006, the last being just 7 days ago. I would rather see a big Indigo or a Chain king crawl through my property. I love the rattlesnakes but, this is too close for comfort! By the way, this one has no rattles.
