Notes
Tejon Ranch southern California NAFHA trip with Mark Jennings. This snake shed was found adjacent to rodent burrow in the bank of a dry creek. Identified as P. catenifer based on faint dorsal pattern (more clearly seen after cutting the shed open) and slender proportions (releative to Crotalus). Identified as ssp. catenifer by range. ID confirmed by Mark Jennings, Mike Waters, and other attendees of the SoCal NAFHA field trip.
