Notes
Initially I heard this snake crawling. I wasn't sure it was the rustling of a snake crawling or a gopher hissing. I moved and the snake made a dash for cover, allowing me to catch it (released after photographs). Snake probed female, had quite a few scars on her.
Last photo is habitat shot. Sulfur creek is about 100 feet or so behind the vegetation.
