Notes

This gopher snake, blind in the right eye, was crossing the road. Ground temp in sun where snake was found was 101 degrees F. Ground temp in the shade was 74 degrees. As commented by Brian Hinds, this gopher snake from northern Los Angeles County, could be a deserticola-annectens intergrade.
