Notes
It took quite a while to close in on this specimen from hearing it and a few others chorusing on a warm March night in the Missouri prairie. Observed alongside Grassland Crayfish, which excavates the burrows this species uses, Smallmouth Salamander, and heard chorusing with American toad, Western Chorus Frog, Southern Leopard Frog, and Peepers.
