I have always entered this locale in other data bases as pulchellus. It was found in their known range.
Nor am I - I just know the integrade zone is close to there. But I'm sure you're right on the primary subspecies being coral-bellied.
It was found in the Southern Sierra's. I have seen several over the years from that area. Could be an integrade, I'm no expert.
Great find - that's the first coral-bellied ringneck in the database for SoCal. Do you think it might be an integrade with Monterey/San Bernardino to some degree?
