Notes
Flipped in close proximity to an A. maculatum and a dead Prairie ring-neck. Two newts were under the first rock flipped, the others were by their lonesome. These Central Newts look much darker and with much more pronounced ventral/dorsal contrast and smaller red spots than the eastern variant I'm used to seeing. Cool little newts they are.
