Update Feb 6 2012 - Changed subspecies to oregonensis
Originally I believed specimen to be E. e. oregonensis X E. e. platensis
However it has come to my attention that extensive sampling within Shasta County found no localities where the two forms co-exist. There is one locale that *may* be genuine integrades but this specimen was found far from it and well within what genetically consistently keys out to oregonensis.
Since it is my suspicion that there may be species split within Ensatina complex coming, I decided to update this record to reflect the subspecies by range currently supported by genetic sampling.
