Notes
Specimen found crossing a road as it traveled upslope and away from a dried streambed. When approached it acted menacing by flaring out its cheeks in triangular fashion, flattening its body against the asphalt, hissing loudly, and rapidly striking. Measured SVL 26", TL 31.5".
