The wind was whipping up on the Blue Ridge crest this day, but despite the weather, we found seven Shenandoah and fourteen Red-backed salamanders in a short search of nearby talus. Bethany Avilla is vouchering five of the seven Shenandoahs, and I am vouchering two.
