Notes
Lots of young bullfrogs in ditch by side of very dry creek and in small pool by dry creek. When approached, most frogs would head for plant cover but in the ditch, which was about 8 inches deep and had fairly cool water, you could put your hand into the ditch and find young frogs consistently by feel. When lifted out, the frogs played possum, but after a few seconds would snap back to life and be gone.
One specimen (first two photos) had a weird growth on the groin.
