Notes
Small body and head with apparent neck, limbs short, feet small with spaced digits, exceptionally long tail (2x body length), and no dorsal stripe; venter gray and lightly sprinkled. Measured: SVL 45 mm (1¾ in.); TL 135 mm (5¼ in.). Common under debris on shaded hillside. This locality appears beyond its recognized distribution. Unfortunately, urban development and park modernization has destroyed considerable portions of the habitat. Salamanders were also seen at this location on February 13, 1988; February 25, 1988; December 29, 1992; and February 10, 2009.
