Notes
Salamanders found here were extraordinarily large. Spring seepages allow the slender salamanders to stay active in this area even through the dry season. Lots of slender salamanders were also found here on August 2, 1990. Recently (2012), Sam Sweet informed me that the "northern" nigriventris complex grow much larger than the "southern" complex and that these animals are of the northern clade.
