Notes
GPS has high margin of error due to model (eTrex Legend) combined with extensive tree cover. Better coordinates from topo map may be provided soon.
Specimen was upstream of geo-referenced locale by less than 1/4 mile.
Specimen had bulge like it had recently fed.
Matches identification keys for Puget Sound subspecies - dark snake, thin dorsal stripe, dark head lacking red, lateral stripes with bluish tint. The lateral spotting is reddish opposed to bluish.
Update Nov 4 2009 - Elevation updated via GPSVisualizer.
I still need better georeference, but the elevation was previously WAY off.
