Specimen was lethargic and looked emaciated despite abundance of food (Rana aurora).
Matches identification keys for Puget Sound subspecies - dark snake, thin dorsal stripe, dark head lacking red, lateral stripes with bluish tint. The lateral spotting is reddish opposed to bluish.
