Notes
Black dorsal and lower eyelids; entire ventral orange. Dark top and orange below contrast sharply. Teeth in roof of mouth in V-shaped arrangement. Four examined: SVL 57 mm (2¼ in.), TL 127 mm (5 in.); SVL 51 mm (2 in.), TL 114 mm (4½ in.); SVL 64 mm (5¾ in.), TL 146 mm (2½ in.); SVL 57 mm (2¼ in.), TL 114 mm (4½ in.). Newts were also seen at this location on February 25, 2001 and April 1-2, 2005.
