Notes
Discovered beneath stone on bank of flowing creek and, when uncovered, this quick moving salamander attempted to drop into hole leading to flowing water below. The salamander measured SVL 56 mm (2¼ in.). Part of the Shasta lineage that is being recognized as a separate species, Aneides iëcanus.
