Notes
Prevalent beneath logs and rocks, two or more often found. As many as eight discovered under one stone. Salamanders are particularly common under shade trees with thick leaf-litter. Possessed solid black eyes and strong contrast between reddish-brown dorsal and pale ventral. Found between 200 and 400 feet elevation. Ensatinas were also found at this location on December 9-10, 2000; and would later be found on December 17-20, 2004.
