Notes
Over half-dozen spadefoots seen and heard calling from large, temporary pool in wash. Individuals called from water and when disturbed swiftly submerged and surfaced many yards away. Thunderstorm producing much lighting, hail, and rain, moved overhead and into the surrounding desert. While photographing spadefoots in the evening, a flash flood swept down the wash filling the pool with a continuous stream. Observed from 7:16-8:00 p.m.
