Encountered in quiet pool. California red-legged frogs were also seen at this location later this year on June 17 and July 12.

I doubt it was Kytrid...there are bullfrogs there now and the two do not mix...the pond turtles will be the next to go bye, bye...in about 30 years...
Frogs were seen here for at least a year, but after that, they disappear and no additional RL were seen. Perhaps stock from Baja Can be reared to combat Kytrid and be re-established at this site.
If there were a list of "saddest entries on NAHERP", this one would be up there. One of the larger extirpation events to make it in.
I've been told that they are now extirpated.
