Notes
Colorful – above reddish with no blotching; below with red about chest, throat, front legs, and much of hind legs. Expressed squeaking and growling release call when handled. Measured SVL 83 mm (3¼ in.). Encountered jumping in tall grass approximately 4.8 m (15 ft.) away from water. That night, random Rana aurora announcement sounds were heard between overwhelming choruses of Pseudacris regilla. Eight clusters of eggs counted attached to vegetation on surface of water and below, all deposited in vicinity of one another and exposed to sunlight.
