Notes

Heard the rustling that I've come to associate with a helleri body in the dead mustard plants about 10' off the trail, and was able to locate him in short order. This was the latest it has taken me to find a helleri in four trips to this location during the right time of year, and I think it's because of a very cool wind that kept coming up from the ocean. In three previous trips I found a helleri by 9:30am and found multiple helleri before 10am, but this time it wasn't until 10:15am, despite having started very early in the day and being right in the middle of summer.
