Notes
Was checking out an abandoned shed I had seen a fence lizard in an hour earlier, and now two juvenile skinks were sitting in front. They scattered but one stayed within viewable space, and only that one was vouchered. ID is based on the upper labials. I saw three other blue-tailed skinks this week within a mile of this sighting, but was not able to capture them and therefore could not verify whether they were E. laticeps or E. fasciatus.
I have now been informed that this is more likely to be fasciatus and that they can sometimes have 5 upper labials too.
