Notes
Two garter snakes seen in muck about 10' apart. Stream was very dry compared to three weeks earlier and the snakes seemed to be taking advantage of california chorus frog tadpoles that were concentrated in small leftover pools. The snake in hand is different from the first one photographed in situ.
