This is the male. Logging one male and one female today, but found and caught TMTC. 1 by flipping, TMTC by catching them in a vernal pool. All in aquatic stage. The one on land was not in eft stage. temp was about 58 degrees. Method is listed as dip-netting but they were caught by hand. The newt on top is the male, the newt on the bottom is the female. (gravid) Time/Date on camera is wrong.
