hey, you're right. I'll get the correct Id. Most were under 3cms long the largest one (pictured above) was maybe 8 or 9cms snout to anal.
What size were these? Juvenile mudpuppies are brightly striped like this http://www.bio.umass.edu/biology/conn.river/mudpup2.html , also they have 4 toes on the rear limbs(while other stream salamander/ambystoma will have 5).
These look like larvae of Gyrinophilus or maybe Psuedotriton.
