Yes, that's a suggestion that several of us have made, not just for that species for for a few others as well. But until that happens, it may be difficult for anyone looking for gray treefrog entries to see your record.
I suggested they but a box for cope's/eastern because they are impossible to ID in the field without calls.
Since there's no species name, the entry is almost invisible (data requesters are unlikely to do searches or data requests for a simple "Hyla"). It's probably better to just choose one of the species to make the entry under, and then explain the uncertainty in the notes.
