Elevation has high margin of error.
This skinny female was warming herself on a little used but paved unmaintained road. I think the road is only used by Southern Pacific for railroad maintenance needs.
After disturbing her, she tried to hide under my boot. It was quite comical, each time I'd carefully move one boot, she would head for the other.
