Notes

Was looking for salamanders near the stream when I caught a movement on the streambank out of the corner of my eye and heard a "plop plop" as two turtles dropped into the water. Took a seat in the grass and waited there until this one decided to start climbing back up. Was quite surprised to find them in this locality.
